Jathan Janove joins Bullard Smith Jernstedt Wilson

2005 Utah Employment Lawyer of the Year brings nationally recognized training programs to expand firm's range of services

PORTLAND, Ore. – Bullard Smith Jernstedt Wilson is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its practice which exclusively represents management in labor and employment law matters, to include nationally published and recognized attorney Jathan Janove. Janove defends workplace claims and helps employers prevent them through policies, practices and problem solving approaches. He has developed a number of training programs including "The Eight Deadly Sins of Mismanagement" (which has also been published in book form) and "The Top Ten Reasons Employers Get Sued."

Jathan's services include HR and employment law consulting and legal advice, assisting employers with internal investigations and Alternative Dispute Resolution proceedings. Mr. Janove is regularly published in industry and trade publications, is a frequent contributor to HR Magazine, and was recently named Utah 's leading employment lawyer for 2005, as well as being recognized in other listings of "best lawyers.” He joins Bullard after establishing the well respected employment boutique firm Janove Baar and Associates, in Salt Lake City , Utah . Janove received his law degree from the University of Chicago and undergraduate degree from Indiana University .

The addition of Mr. Janove continues the Bullard service expansion that started in 2004 with Tom Kramer joining the firm to start an Employee Benefits practice group. Mr. Janove will now add a nationally recognized presence to its complete training menu for employers, locally, regionally and nationally.
