The honor and bravery of our men and women who have and are serving in Ameria's military deserve the appreciation and respect of a grateful nation. Nevethless, veterans returning from combat face challenges that impede their re-integration into the community. This reality not only impacts the veteran but our society at large.

Employers have a particularly significant stake in the successful transition of veterans from military to civilian careers. Learn more about this important and timely issue and how your organization can be on the leading edge of transforming lives and building partnerships with those who've done so much for our country. NW EEO has assembled a panel of knowledgeable professionals who will guide us into a discussion of veterans' issues to include:

Bullard Smith Jernstedt Wilson emphasizes preventative counseling and pre-loss advice. We encourage our clients to recognize and address potential legal and HR issues before they lead to workplace disruptions or litigation. This is a proven loss prevention strategy.

Courts recognize that training is an important component of an effective HR practice. Managers must understand pitfalls in order to avoid them. Understanding one's limitations as a manager or supervisor and the value of securing assistance of the HR manager or other experts, including outside counsel, will often define the outcome of a grievance or other legal challenge. Training is imperative in order to defend successfully claims which assert discrimination or harassment.

We offer supervisory training which can be tailored to fit your policies, culture, time requirements and the audience. This brochure provides an overview of presentations we customize for clients and employer associations.

Feel free to inquire of any of our attorneys or Coni Crone, our training and external communications coordinator, to determine how we can best help you in achieving your HR and risk management training objectives. We are happy to combine and tailor training options and alternatives to address the priorities and needs of each client.
