Providing reasonable employee healthcare benefits continues to be more challenging. Faced with escalating costs and increasingly complex issues, public employers are searching for solutions. We can help. Come listen and participate with other public agencies at Bullard Smith Jernstedt Wilson's Oregon public sector symposium focusing on healthcare.

This symposium will provide tools to help manage health benefit issues in the public sector environment, including the unique issues that an employer faces with a unionized workforce.

Our symposium will be a partnership between our attorneys and other experts who have significant experience with healthcare issues and can help you think about the options you have as an employer.

Jan Long , principal, Portland office of Mercer Human Resource Consulting (a leader in private and public sector healthcare and group benefits), will share health plan information for governmental employers and discuss emerging trends and lay issues for employers to consider in determining health benefit plan strategies.

Arbitrators Katrina Boedecker, George Lehleitner and Tom Levak, arbitrators of national prominence, will participate in a panel presentation which focuses on what matters most in an interest arbitration with healthcare benefit issues.
