Bob Lee was born and raised in the Portland area (Vancouver, Washington). After graduating from University of Washington in 1978, he attended Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College in Portland. Bob clerked for the firm while in law school and became an attorney for the firm following his graduation from law school in 1981. Since that time, Bob's primary emphasis has been in the “traditional” aspects of labor law, including collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations arising under labor agreements, work before the National Labor Relations Board, defense of administrative discrimination charges and drafting of personnel policies for both union and non-union employers.
