Mitch Cogen returns to Bullard Law after serving as Corporate Counsel responsible for all labor and employment law matters for Daimler Trucks North America LLC since 2004. Mitch initially joined the firm after moving to Portland in 1999. Prior to moving to Portland, Mitch lived and worked in Connecticut for almost 10 years, where he was Corporate Manager, Human Resources for a large paper company. As a practicing employment attorney and human resources manager, Mitch has gained extensive practical experience in all areas of private sector labor and employment law, including employment-related litigation, collective bargaining, labor arbitration, development and administration of employee benefit plans, wage and hour issues, workers compensation, unemployment insurance, OFCCP/affirmative action, immigration and developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Mitch is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Labor and Employment and Litigation sections, the Federal Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
