Lisa Brown’s primary areas of practice are employment advice, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Lisa’s practice includes providing advice and training for employers regarding employment policies and procedures, employment agreements, disability discrimination, state and federal family leave laws, hiring, termination, sexual harassment, and federal and state discrimination laws.

Lisa also has extensive federal and state court experience in defending claims of wrongful discharge, breach of contract, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, sexual harassment, employment torts and discrimination. She also defends administrative claims before BOLI, EEOC and other agencies.

Lisa maintains the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell, a peer review rating of a lawyer's legal abilities and professional ethics and is listed in Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers. Lisa serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Lisa is a past member of Multnomah County Arbitration Panel, Counsel of Court Procedures, Oregon State Bar — Multnomah County Local Professional Responsibility Committee (1988-1991) and American Inns of Court XXVII Barrister Group (1987-1991). Lisa is a frequent speaker at both Bullard Law® events and notable events around town.
