Lisa Brown’s primary areas of practice are employment advice, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Lisa’s practice includes providing advice and training for employers regarding employment policies and procedures, employment agreements, non-compete agreements, hiring, termination, sexual harassment, federal and state discrimination laws.

Lisa also has extensive federal and state court experience in defending claims of wrongful discharge, breach of contract, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, sexual harassment, employment torts and discrimination. She also defends administrative claims before BOLI, EEOC and other agencies.

Lisa serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, Multnomah County Arbitration Panel, Counsel of Court Procedures, Oregon State Bar—Multnomah County Local Professional Responsibility Committee (1988-1991) and American Inns of Court XXVII Barrister Group (1987-1991). Lisa is also a frequent speaker at both Bullard Smith Jernstedt Wilson events and notable events around town.
