Friday, January 06, 2012

PORTLAND, Ore. - Bullard Law proudly supports Friends of Portland’s Mounted Patrol during the months of January/February 2012 with its “Jeans Friday” program. Bullard Law has designated Friends of Portland’s Mounted Patrol as its charity for its ongoing Friday Jeans program. Jeans Friday is a program in which employees contribute to a selected nonprofit and the firm matches their donations. Employees earn the reward of wearing jeans to work on Fridays.

Friends of Portland's Mounted Patrol is a non-profit organization that supports Portland’s mounted police. The Friends recently gave $100,000 to the City of Portland so these crime fighters and ambassadors wouldn’t be cut from the City’s budget. The Friends support the horses by purchasing equipment and providing funds for life saving surgery. The Friends have committed to raising additional funds to keep the mounted patrol and replenish the foundation.
